Do I need an appointment?

We highly recommend you schedule one to avoid potentially long wait times and allow us to serve you better.

Is the Gold Recycling a member exclusive service?

Non-members are also welcome. Please make an appointment online or contact any MaBelle retail store for arrangement.

Where should I go to enjoy the Gold Recycling Service?

Do you accept jewellery from brands other than MaBelle?

Of course. A wide range of gold Jewellery are accepted regardless of brand, product age or condition.

Do you take broken or deformed gold jewellery?

Yes! Regardless of product age or condition, we recycle all 14K Gold, 18K Gold, 22K Gold, Platinum and Pure Gold Jewellery.

Do you recycle single K Gold earring?

Sure! We take all 14K Gold, 18K Gold, 22K Gold, Platinum and Pure Gold Jewellery for recycling despite product age or condition.

Do you accept pure gold display ornaments?

We only take gold jewellery for recycling. Pure gold display ornaments, gold bars and gold coins are not accepted due to valuation difficulty. Dragon and phoenix bangles can also be recycled, however, a cutting procedure is required for inspection.

Do you recycle engraved jewellery?

Yes, we do. The actual recycled value would be calculated after professional inspection.

Is jewellery with natural diamond inlaid accepted for recycling?

The recycling service is made to handle gold jewellery. Inlaid gemstones and diamonds are not accepted, please take care of the disassembly in advance. Otherwise, the weight of the inlaid will be deducted from the recycled value.

How do you calculate the recycled value?

Your jewellery will go through a series of weighting and inspection by professional machines before getting an instant valuation.

Is there any charge involved for the gold inspection?

There is no handling fee for the gold inspection. You can choose to redeem cash or earn an additional 10% in cash credit for the purchase of new natural diamond jewellery at MaBelle right after the valuation. However, if you prefer cash redemption and the valuation is higher than the company's cash withdrawal limit, a cheque would be offered instead.

Can I conduct the valuation online instead?

Physical inspection is needed since your jewellery has to go through a series of weighting and inspection by professional machines before getting an instant valuation.

Can I keep my jewellery instead after the valuation?

Of course, the gold inspection and valuation are transparent and free of charge. Customer can withdraw any time before confirmation while no handling fee is required. However, since all jewellery must be cut open for inspection and testing, the inspected item will be damaged and cannot be restored regardless of whether it will be recycled or not. Customer approval and consent is required prior to inspection. The company has no legal responsibility for the damaged item.

Can I redeem cash instantly after the valuation?

Of course! However, if the valuation is higher than the company's cash withdrawal limit, a cheque would be offered instead. Apart from redeeming cash instantly, you can even choose to earn an additional 10% in cash credit for the purchase of new natural diamond jewellery at MaBelle.

What is cash credit?

Cash credit can be used as cash at any MaBelle retail store. $1 cash credit is equivalent to $1 cash. If you prefer cash credit than cash in return of the gold recycled, we will reward you with an additional 10% in cash credit for the purchase at MaBelle.

Will the cash credit be expired?

There is no time limit for the cash credit. It can be spent as cash anytime at any MaBelle retail store. You can even flexibly arrange the spending amount according to your needs.

When will I receive the cash credit?

The cash credit will be instantly deposited into your membership account. You can check the balance anytime in the e-wallet of fanShare, the membership app of MaBelle.

Can I cancel the transaction?

Customer can withdraw any time after the valuation. However, since all jewellery must be cut open for inspection and testing, the inspected item will be damaged and cannot be restored. Customer approval and consent is required prior to inspection. The company has no legal responsibility for the damaged item. If customer would like to continue, the recycled items will be destroyed after transaction is made and cannot be returned.

Do you accept all kinds of jewellery?

We accept all 14K, 18K, 22K, platinum and pure gold jewellery that bears a mark indicating the fineness of gold content which test result also comply with our gold content standards. Gold-plated and gold-filled jewellery is not accepted. Pure gold display ornaments, gold bars and gold coins are not jewellery therefore they are not accepted neither.

Will the jewellery inspection lead to any damage?

All jewellery must be cut open for inspection and testing. The item will be damaged and cannot be restored regardless of whether it will be recycled or not. Customer approval and consent is required prior to inspection. The company has no legal responsibility for the damaged item.

Is there any quantity limit for gold recycling?

There is no quantity limit. However, customer can choose to exchange the jewellery for cash (HK$3,000 per person per day maximum), or in the form of cheque or cash credit according to the quotation.
